How it works

Three steps. Then you forget it’s there.

BrowseStay stays out of your way until it has something worth telling you.

Add it to your browser

One click from the Chrome Web Store. No signup, no card, no account.

Browse as you always do

Search Airbnb, Vrbo or Booking.com normally. We check each stay against our verified owner network.

Book direct with the owner

When a home has a direct option, a small badge appears. Open the owner’s site and book with the person who owns the keys.

AI trip search

Describe your trip. BrowseStay finds the match.

Skip the filters — say it in plain words and we'll turn it into a real search across verified homes.

Try AI Search

Only ever returns real, database-backed homes. No invented prices or availability.

Reverse search

Found it on an OTA? Check for a direct option.

Paste the listing link. We'll look for a verified direct-booking match — and tell you honestly how confident we are.

Why travellers use BrowseStay

Browse by destination

See every verified direct-booking home in a location, grouped and ready.

Verified owners, never guesses

Every direct link comes from an owner who chose to be listed. No scraped numbers, no dead links.

Quiet by design

A small badge, never a popup over the booking button. Minimise it and it stays minimised.

Trust

What “verified” actually means.

Not one vague badge. Each check is separate, dated, and reviewed.

Company verified

The business identity behind the listing has been reviewed.

Website verified

The owner proved they control the direct booking domain.

Property verified

The home is confirmed to belong to that business.

Direct link verified

The button leads to a working booking path, not a dead page.

Verification reduces risk — it is not a guarantee. Each badge carries the date it was last checked.

Why book direct

The fee isn’t buying you anything.

Booking platforms are brilliant at helping you discover a home. They are also charging you for the privilege of clicking “reserve” — on a stay the owner already listed at a lower price on their own site.

~14%

Added at the last screen

Guest service fees typically land at checkout, after you have fallen for the place. The nightly rate you compared was never the real number.

$0

Extra value received

The same house. The same owner. The same keys. The fee buys you nothing the owner’s own site does not already give you.

To find it yourself

You could copy the title, search the owner’s name, guess the domain, and hope. BrowseStay does it the moment the listing loads.

Savings vary by property, dates, and booking channel. Final pricing always lives on the owner's site.

Honest comparison

Most fee-finders stop at Airbnb.

And most guess the owner's website from public data. A link you can't trust is worse than no link at all.

For owners

Book with the owner, not the middleman

Booking directly connects you straight with the owner — often with better cancellation terms and no OTA guest service fee. Final price and availability always live on the owner’s own site.

Questions

The things travellers actually ask.

Is BrowseStay free for travellers?
Yes. The extension is free, needs no account, and adds nothing to the price you pay the owner.
Why don’t I see a direct option on every home?
Because we only show homes whose owners have opted in and been verified. Plenty of listings genuinely have no direct site. We would rather show you nothing than send you to a link we guessed.
