Direct bookings by Browse Stay
You found the home.
Now stop paying the middleman.
Browse Stay quietly checks every stay you view on Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com — and shows you the owner's own booking site, where the guest service fee doesn't exist.

The problem
The fee isn't buying you anything.
Booking platforms are brilliant at helping you discover a home. They're also charging you for the privilege of clicking "reserve" — on a stay the owner already listed at a lower price on their own site.
Added at the last screen
Guest service fees typically land at checkout, after you've fallen for the place. The nightly rate you compared was never the real number.
Extra value received
The same house. The same owner. The same keys. The fee buys you nothing the owner's own site doesn't already give you — often with better cancellation terms.
To find it yourself
You could copy the title, search the owner's name, guess the domain, and hope. Browse Stay does it the moment the listing loads.
How it works
Three steps. Then you forget it's there.
Browse Stay stays out of your way until it has something worth telling you.
Add it to your browser
One click from the Chrome Web Store. No signup, no card, no account. It works on Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera and Arc.
Browse exactly as you always do
Search Airbnb, Vrbo or Booking.com normally. Browse Stay checks each stay against our verified owner network in the background.
Book direct, keep the fee
When a home has a direct option, a small badge appears. Open the owner's site, see their real price, and book with the person who owns the keys.
Browse by destination
Searching Garden City? See every verified direct-booking home in that location, grouped and ready — not one listing at a time.
Verified owners, never guesses
Every direct link comes from an owner who chose to be listed. No scraped phone numbers, no dead links, no "we think this might be it."
Quiet by design
A small badge, never a popup over the booking button. Minimise it and it stays minimised. Your search stays yours.
Honest comparison
Most fee-finders stop at Airbnb.
And most guess the owner's website from public data. We think a link you can't trust is worse than no link at all.
| Browse Stay | Typical fee-finder | |
|---|---|---|
| Airbnb | ✓Supported | ✓ Supported |
| Vrbo & Booking.com | ✓Supported today | Often "coming soon" |
| Where the links come from | ✓Owners who opted in | Guessed from public data |
| Browse a whole destination | ✓Grouped by location | One listing at a time |
| Covers the checkout page | ✓Never — by design | Sometimes overlays it |
| Price | ✓Free, no account | Free, or ~$19/year |

Questions
The things people actually ask.
Is this allowed?
Yes. Browse Stay runs in your browser, on pages you already opened, and only ever shows you information owners have chosen to publish. It never books anything for you, never touches checkout, and never automates a purchase. You click; you decide.
Is it safe? What data do you collect?
We read only what's needed to match a stay: the public page address, the listing title and the destination. We never collect payment details, passwords, private messages or cookies, and we never sell data. The extension only wakes up on Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com.
Will it slow my browser down?
No. It's a few kilobytes and it does nothing until you land on a supported page. There is no background crawling and no video, tracking pixel or ad network anywhere in it.
Is it really free? What's the catch?
Free for travellers, permanently. Owners and property managers list their direct sites with us because it sends them bookings they'd otherwise pay commission on. That's the whole model — nobody pays per booking.
Why don't I see a direct option on every home?
Because we only show homes whose owners have actually opted in and been verified. Plenty of listings genuinely have no direct site. We'd rather show you nothing than send you to a link we guessed.
I'm an owner. Will this get me in trouble with the platforms?
Be careful here, and read your host agreement. Platforms restrict how hosts divert guests off-platform, and enforcement is the host's risk, not ours. Browse Stay never contacts your guests, never messages through a platform, and never uses platform branding. If you're unsure, speak to your own advisor before listing.
