For owners & property managers

You’re renting your own guests back from a platform.

They discovered your home. Now they pay a commission to a company that will never hand you the guest’s email. BrowseStay puts your own booking site in front of that guest at the moment they’re deciding.

What are platform fees actually costing you?

Illustrative model, not a forecast or a guarantee of bookings.

The part nobody puts on a pitch deck

A business built on someone else’s algorithm isn’t a business. It’s a tenancy.

The fees are the visible cost. The real one is fragility — every rule you don’t control is a risk you can’t price.

1

Ranking is not yours

A search-algorithm change can halve your visibility overnight, with no notice and no appeal. You didn’t do anything wrong. You just stopped being shown.

2

The guest list is not yours

You hosted them. You cleaned for them. You’ll never email them again. Every repeat stay is a fee you pay twice for a guest you already earned.

3

The terms are not yours

Commission rates, cancellation policies, payout timing — all revisable without your consent. Your margin is a setting in someone else’s dashboard.

What direct bookings actually buy

Not just margin. Ownership.

Keep the platforms for discovery. Just stop letting them own the transaction.

A guest list you keep — emails, preferences, repeat stays.
Pricing you control — your rates, your minimum stays, your cancellation terms.
A brand guests remember, so next year they come back to you.
Diversification — one channel failing shouldn’t end your year.

Joining takes a day

You change nothing. We do the wiring.

No new channel manager. No migration. No code on your site.

Send us your site

Your direct booking website and the platform listings that match it. If you have 40 properties, one link is enough — we read the rest.

We verify and match

Every property is checked against your platform listings by URL and title, so travellers only ever see a link that is genuinely yours.

Travellers find you

When someone views your home — or searches your destination — BrowseStay surfaces your own site. They click through. You take the booking.

Owner questions

The objections, answered plainly.

What does BrowseStay cost an owner?
Nothing to start. There is no upfront cost, no subscription and no setup fee. BrowseStay charges a 5% host fee only when a direct booking is completed through a link we surfaced. If nobody books, you pay nothing.
When exactly am I charged the host fee?
The 5% host fee applies only to a completed direct booking that came through BrowseStay. It never applies to your Airbnb, Vrbo or Booking.com reservations, and never to bookings that arrived through your own marketing.
Do guests pay a BrowseStay fee?
No. Guests pay the owner’s own price on the owner’s own site. BrowseStay adds nothing to what a guest pays.
How does that compare to an OTA?
Booking platforms typically take somewhere in the region of 14–16% once host and guest service fees are combined. BrowseStay charges a 5% host fee and nothing to the guest. Your exact platform rate depends on your plan, so check your own statements rather than relying on an average.
Are there any other charges?
No. No listing fee, no subscription, no per-property charge, no setup cost, and no charge for removing your listings. The host fee on completed direct bookings is the only way BrowseStay earns.
How do I sign up?
Send us your direct booking website and the platform listings that match it. We verify each property against your listings, then you’re live — usually within a day. No PMS migration, no code on your site.
Will this get my listing suspended?
Read your host agreement carefully — this is the honest answer. Platforms restrict how hosts divert guests off-platform, and enforcement risk sits with you, not with BrowseStay. We never message your guests, never use platform branding, and never touch the checkout page. If you are unsure, take your own advice before applying.
Do I have to leave Airbnb?
No, and we would advise against it. Platforms are excellent at discovery. This is about not paying a commission on guests they have already shown you, and on the ones who come back.
Can I leave whenever I want?
Yes. There is no contract and no notice period. Email us and your listings are removed.
